Grace Zhang ( 张冰原 Bingyuan Zhang) is a self-taught artist born in China and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, USA.

The artist employs flat geometric shapes and vibrant contrasting colors to create a cinematic experience in her paintings. Her work is inspired by her extensive travels, blending landscapes from various locations, captivating stories, and fashion elements. Zhang’s art explores profound themes of the universe, Earth, and life, while contemplating the meaning of death with a Buddhism perspective. Beyond these broad subjects, her work also delves into the fundamental principles of pure art, focusing on form, color, composition, and movement.
